Aendemle Qualification, Experience Skills

a. Academic qualification

At least Bachelor's in engineering.

Professional certifications/degree in Procurement from any recognized institution will be given preference.

b. Experience and Skills

08 (eight) years proven experience in carrying out public Procurement for works, goods and services

Of which at least 03(three) years experience in procurement of works under projects funded by WB/ADB/AIIB/JICA etc. Hands-on experience in managing all steps in the e- procurement process, including procurement planning, preparation of bidding/contract documents, bid/proposal evaluation, contract award and implementation of goods, works and consultant

services.

An understanding of Government's procurement Rule/Act. Strong coordination and communications skills.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary

team.

• Posing excellent computer skills.

Posing excellent English writing and speaking ability.

n. Academic Qualification

Master's in Environment Engineering or Environmental Science or related subject.

a. Experience and Skills

8 years working with proven experience in planning. implementation and monitoring of environmental management for large-scale infrastructure projects is required.

Experience in institutional capacity analysis, preparation und implementation of EMPS for works of similar nature and complexity, and knowledge of World Bank environmental safeguard polleles is highly desired.

Further trainings on relevant topies will be preferred. Excellent communication and writing skills with higher-level computer skills in Windows operating system (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) are highly desired.

A. Applicants are requested to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Comprehensive curriculum vitae including desired remuneration and attached verifiable credentials demonstrating qualifications and professional experience).

B. Terms of Reference (TOR) will be available upon request from the address provided below either through email or in person.

C. The consultants will be selected using the selection of Individual Consultant in accordance with the current World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, November 2020.

D. Expressions of Interest shall be submitted by 21/04/2024 during office hours on weekdays either in sealed envelope sent to Project Director, and be clearly marked "Expressions of Interest [Name of the Position]".

E. The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject all REOIS.
