Notification of Preliminary Examination

It is for the information of all concerned that the preliminary examination of 17th BJS Examination, 2024 will be held on Saturday 04/05/2024 AD from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the following 3 centers in Dhaka:

Entry to the respective examination center by the candidates.

Candidates will be provided MCQ answer sheet along with question paper. Candidates will fill the respective sections of the answer sheet as per the rules. The PDF files and video clips related to the rules are requested to be viewed from the website of the Commission. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after 10.55 am.

Every candidate will sign the attendance list. They will keep the admit cards open on their respective tables. At this time, the photo and signature of the attendance list of the candidates will be compared with the photo of the admit card. A warning bell will ring when the test is over.

The exam will end immediately after the closing bell. Candidates will sit in their own seats. After the invigilators have counted the answer sheets, the candidates will leave their respective seats and rooms.

Preliminary examination will be conducted in MCQ format. Circles of OMR Sheet should be filled with black ink ball pen. (b) If the question paper does not have one to one hundred questions in order or if the Set Code of 10 (ten) digits on the OMR does not match the Set Code mentioned in the question paper, the question paper must be changed immediately before the start of answering.

(c) Circles should be filled in such a way that the text inside is not visible.

(d) Candidate's name and roll number should be written in the specified space of the answer sheet with black ink ball pen as per the admit card, signature and specified circles should be filled. Otherwise the answer sheet will be considered invalid.

Before starting the answer, the candidate should carefully separate the answer sheet (OMR Sheet) attached to the question paper at his own responsibility. In this case, care should be taken that the answer sheet (OMR) is not torn or creased or distorted in any way. Doing so will invalidate the answer sheet.

(f) 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

(g) Bringing of bags, money bags/wallets, books, calculators, electronic/watches, mobile phones and any other type of device used for data exchange in the examination center is strictly prohibited. If the instructions of this clause are violated, the concerned candidate will be barred from participating in the examination.

(h) Candidates are advised to carefully read and follow the instructions mentioned in the admit card carefully. (j) Candidates concerned will not be allowed to participate in the examination if the photo of the admit card does not match with the photo of the attendance list.

(j) No candidate shall leave the examination hall/room from the commencement of the examination at 10.55 a.m. till the end of the examination.
