GCE 'O' and 'A' Levels
Minimum GPA in science stream at 'O' level in at least 5 subjects including Physics and Mathematics in both examinations
| 4.50 and minimum letter Grade-'B' in Physics and Mathematics and Grade-'A' in Physics and Grade-'A' in 'A' level. Minimum letter grade-'B' in Mathematics.
A minimum GPA of 4.50 in Science stream and a minimum letter grade of 'A' in Physics and Mathematics in both examinations.
Minimum letter grade-'B' in at least 5 subjects including Physics and Mathematics at 'O' Level and minimum letter grade-"B" in Physics and Mathematics at 'A' Level.
Branch of ATC ADWC candidates will be decided after one year of training.

Disqualification for the candidate
1. Dismissal/Removal/Voluntary Retirement from Army/Navy/Air Force or any other Government service;
2. credentialed out twice or rejected twice in ISSB examination (candidates who are credentialed out once and rejected once can apply);
3. Convicted by court for any criminal offence
4. Rejected by CMB or Appeals Medical Board;
5. LASIK is not acceptable if the candidate is under 18 years of age. If LASIK is done after 18 years of age, a minimum of 1 year for GD (P) branch and 6 (six) months for other branches must elapse from the date of LASIK operation to the date of medical/health examination.
Training/Commissioning
After 3 years of training in Bangladesh Air Force Academy including 10 weeks in Bangladesh Military Academy, regular commission in the rank of 'Flying Officer' will be given. Bachelor (Honours) degree will be awarded for a total duration of 4 years including 1 year after receiving commission.
Degree obtained after training
Pursuing B.Sc (Hons) Aeronautics/BBA degree under Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
Special privileges
Officer cadets receive a monthly salary of Tk 10,500.00 during training and attractive salary and allowances as per rank after training.

Selection Procedure
1. Preliminary Written Test: IQ, English, Maths & Physics For Finance stream only: IQ, English & Business Education; 2. Initial medical examination; 3. preliminary oral examination; 4. Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB); 5. Final Health Examination by Central Medical Board (CMB); 6. Cadet Final Selection Board (CFSB). B. Carrying all types of electronic devices (mobiles, calculators, watches etc.) and bags in the examination center is strictly prohibited.
