3. Other conditions (for all posts).
A. Bangladeshi male citizen b. Knowing how to swim is essential c. Unmarried d. Age: 01 July 2024 (1) Seaman : 17 to 20 years (2) MODC (Navy) : 17 to 22 years. Age affidavit is not acceptable.
4. disqualification
A. Arrested, convicted, imprisoned, detained or under trial in any court under any law and rule applicable in Bangladesh or any other country. b. On removal/expulsion from armed forces or government service. c. Dual citizenship.
5. Details of required certificates.
A. Educational qualification certificate.
(1) SSC Pass Candidates Original or Provisional Certificate issued by Board of Education / Photocopy of Original/Provisional Certificate attested by 1st Class Gazetted Officer and Certificate signed by Head of Educational Institution, Original Marksheet/Photocopy of Original Marksheet attested by 1st Class Gazetted Officer, Original Registration Card and Original Admit Card. Those who are unable to provide the original/temporary certificate due to any reason, will have to submit the attested copy at the time of admission. However original copy must be submitted at the time of joining for training at Navin Navik Training School, Banouja Sher-i-Bangla, Lalua, Kalapara, Patuakhali. (2) Any candidates with higher educational qualification can be admitted, they should bring certificate of higher educational qualification at the time of admission. But they will not get any additional facilities for this.
(3) 8th class pass candidates have to submit school pass certificate and examination mark sheet.
b. Nationality and Character Certificate. Nationality and character certificate (must mention marital status and permanent residence) from Chairman/Municipal Mayor or Chairman/Ward Councilor or Commissioner of Swa Swa Union Parishad.
c. Birth Registration/National Identity Card. 1st Class Gazetted Officer/Chairman/Ward Councillor/Commissioner attested photocopy of candidate's birth registration or national identity card and attested copy of father's national identity card.
d. Parent's consent letter. To be countersigned by the Chairman/Municipal Mayor or Chairman/Ward Councilor or Commissioner of the respective Union Parishad.
e. picture 15 copies of newly taken passport size photograph of candidate himself, 1 copy of father and 1 copy of mother in color (lab print) should be attested by Gazetted Officer 1st Class. f. Employing candidates should bring the clearance letter from the employing authority.
6. Collection and filling of application forms. Candidates applying for the post of Sailor should enter the website www.joinnavy.navy.mil.bd and click on the Sailor Section/Apply Now on the home page, and first check the pre-eligibility of the candidate by knowing the branch-based Job Description (Responsibilities and Duties) of the Sailor and MODC (Navy). Click on the Now button. After that the candidate has to sign up / sign in and complete the payment through banking / mobile banking. 200/00 (Rs. Two hundred) can pay an application fee of Rs.
