Application start date through SMS and online is 14 March 2024 and last date is 05 April 2024
In 2024, the admission process of trade-2 (special occupation) male and female candidates for the soldier post in Bangladesh Army will be held in the designated cantonments. Detailed information for application of male and female candidates interested in joining the army is as follows:
1. Application A candidate can apply in Trade-II (Special Profession) as per District Quota, subject to eligibility. Besides, children of servicemen (SS) can apply separately. All cases have to apply through SMS and online. A total of Rs.300/- (Entrance Test Fee Rs.200/- and Online Registration Fee Rs.100/-) will be deducted in favor of each application. 2. Occupations of Trade-II (special occupations). Cook (Mess), Cook (Unit), Cook (Hospital), Bandsman, Painter & Decorator and Painter.
3. qualification
A. age 17-20 years as on 09 February 2025 (affidavit not acceptable). The age limit is relaxed by 01 (one) year only in case of candidates having experience in the profession of cook.
b. Educational qualification. Passed SSC/Equivalent Examination with minimum GPA-2.50. Must pass from Science Department for Painter & Decorator and Painter profession.
c. Professional qualifications.
(1) Candidates interested in joining the profession of cook should be proficient in cooking.
(2) Candidates interested in joining the tailor profession should have a minimum of 03 (three) months training in tailoring, preferably in shirt and pants tailoring.
(3) Candidates interested in joining the profession of Painter/Painter and Decorator should be proficient in painting work. (4) Candidates proficient in various musical instruments (drums, brass band clarinet, bag pipe, trumpet etc.) will be given priority in the Bandsman profession.
