Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University is inviting applications from genuine Bangladeshi citizens (male/female) to fill the vacant posts against the below mentioned posts.

Conditions and information applicable to the candidate:
Educational qualification and experience
Minimum “A” grade (GPA minimum 4.0 on 5.0 point based grade system) / First Division (for whom no grading system was in place) with 4th subject in both Secondary and Higher Secondary level; Also in case of candidates with B.Sc.Fisheries (Honours) degree, minimum “A” grade (GPA minimum 3.75 on 4.0 point based grading system)/First Class (for whom grading system was not in operation) and “A” Grade/First in Post Graduate level also in related subject. Class (for whom grading system was not in operation) should have Candidate must be good in teaching.
>) Candidates interested in the posts mentioned in the recruitment circular should submit 9 (nine) sets of separate application forms containing all the documents (A4 size) in the prescribed application form of the University in an envelope by post or through courier service by 01/04/2024 to the Registrar, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chittagong-422.5 during office hours (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM) should reach the Registrar's office. No hand-in-hand applications will be accepted. The name of the candidate should be clearly mentioned on the envelope. The prescribed application form for the posts mentioned in the notification can be collected from the University website (cvasu.ac.bd) or the Registrar's office.

The maximum age limit of the candidate for the post mentioned in the notification is 18-30 years; However, if the candidate is the child of a freedom fighter, additional 2 (two) years of the prescribed age limit can be considered. The age limit of the candidate will be determined as per the last date of application submission (01/04/2024). No affidavit is admissible in determining age. 6) 700/- (Seven Hundred) Taka (Non-refundable) original copy of bank draft/pay order (Janta Bank Ltd., Chittagong Veterinary & Animal Sciences) for the post mentioned in the recruitment circular in favor of Registrar, Chittagong Veterinary & Animal Sciences University should be extractable from University Branch, Chittagong) should be attached with the application.

8) Copy of all certificates of educational qualification and experience attested by 1st Class Gazetted Officer/Teacher/Senior Officer of Public University along with the application to the candidate; (b) Character certificate issued by 1st Class Gazetted Officer/Teacher/Senior Officer of Public University; (c) Citizenship certificate issued by Union Parishad Chairman/ Municipal Chairman/ Ward Commissioner; (d) Attested copy of National Identity Card / Digital Birth Certificate and (e) 6 (six) attested copies of recent passport size photographs to be attached.
9) Third class/department/equivalent grade in any examination of the candidate is not acceptable and need not apply if he/she does not have the required qualifications and experience for the respective post.
10) If the candidate is studying in higher course/degree/programme the same must be attached in the application with reference and permission of the authority must be obtained not later than 3 (three) months after being appointed to the post. Study in higher course/degree/programme without prior permission of the authority or study in higher course/degree/programme or acquisition of higher course/degree is not mentioned in the application, no benefit will be admissible for said course/degree/programme/training.
11) In case of children of freedom fighters, government-recognised freedom fighter certificates in favor of parents/grandparents/grandparents and copies of national identity cards of parents of the concerned candidates must be submitted along with the application after being attested by the competent authority.
12) Applications containing false/defective/incomplete applications and applications received late due to any other reason including courier service and postal communication will be treated as outright cancellation. After the time specified in the notification regarding submission of application, no further documents can be attached with the submitted application.

The authority reserves the right to take any decision regarding reduction/increase in the number of posts, acceptance/cancellation of applications, clarification of terms/relaxation of terms and conditions, assignment of work place of the recruits and recruitment.
